Intra-Muros and ramparts
Start with Saint-Malo Intra-Muros and then walk all the way around the ramparts to get your bearings. It's about an hour's walk, with superb views of the sea, the old town, the beaches and the mouth of the River Rance. It's the best introduction to the corsair town.

From the centre of Dinan, head down to the port for a change of atmosphere. The quays, the Rance valley and the possibilities for walking, cycling or boating give the visit a more peaceful pace. It's a great way to round off your visit to the medieval town centre.
